Water can be chilled to below 0 Celcius and it won’t freeze. It will only begin to freeze if the ice particles have something to attach onto to grow. This will only work if the water is clean and free from dust particles. Its quite amazing how rapily the ice forms once the chain reaction has been started.

lol ! probably not when its FROZEN
yeah its just water lol
i can never get this to happen, why?
i always put it in the fridge and then i tap it hard and nothing happens
yes.
dont forget setting up a camera to sit and watch the bottle for several hours while the water inside freezes.
yeah, it is water
huh? my vocabulary is small and so is my chemical mind
XDDD its just a snow flake
try turning up the tempature. ( sorry about the spelling) the cooing must be slow. also, put in 5-7 bottles, and hit one every hour. hope this helps.
dont try!
The water has to be purified, tap water won’t usually work.
The thing I noticed that works rather well is gatorade.
ites easy, first put it in the cooler, this cools the bottle to an average low. this way when you put it into the freezer, the water temp throughout the bottle will be very constant. And leave it in the freezer for an hour maybe more depending…and when removing it, dont agitate the water too much, when you are ready, you can give it a tap and spark the crystal alighment process.
I think you gotta leave it in the freezer (below 0 degrees, not sure if C or F), for about 3 hours.
ITS ICE
but how did you make it hehe a silly questiom
For super cooling to work the water has to be:
-10degrees
Undisturbed for 3 hours
Be free from impurities (use-bottled water)
The bottle has to have smooth sides
yes
ts vrozen
HAHAHAHAHA love that book
wha……..
the water has to be pure with no particles of any sort in it. your best bet is to buy a case of like aquafina of some purified stuff, and try freezing a bunch of them, one of them is boud to be pure. (i had two in one case)
……whaaaa? is it pausible to speek dumb?
yea, just like mentioned below it would turn into slush in your mouth. OOOOOOOOOO i just had an idea, an INSTANT SLURPY!!!!!! would that even work?
u need PURE water.
if you want water at 0 degrees Celsius freezing in your mouth, then… YES you can drink it.
awesome!!how do u do that
love the bells in background =D
Would someone please explain this to me?
ITS NOT SODIUM ACETATE! Its plain water. Whoever doesnt believe this, is ignorant
u just used sodium acetate correct?
how do u make it freeze like that?
your hand would be frozen if it was that cold nice trick but didnt work on me
how long did u have to freeze that?
Man it would be so funny if you pretended you were freezing.
its -16c, my bet is that the reason its not frozen in the first place is because it needs a catylist so when the water touches the ice, it freezes
is that right?
wow..sweet!!!
how did you do thaat!! i waant too kooww! i have a science fair in one week!
This + Supersoaker = Children fleeing in horror.
It could work. Try putting a supersoaker with pure water in a fridge and carefully take it out. but it would have to be pressurized with air before supercooling, only granting you on shot. USE IT WISELY.
how long did u have it out there? or how long do i need to?
better than #1 and #2 put together – still awsome.
supercooling is like cloud formation, when it reaches the water reaches the dew point all it needs is an impurity like sticking pasta in a pot of boiling water. water molecules need something to form around. thats what my science teacher told us anyway
This only works with distilled water correct?
how does that work? is it really cold?
wow- he had bare hands in that- wooow
that would be worng!! shoot some water in your friends face and it freezes on contact!
Can someone explain to me what happened
try drinking it ROFL!!
how does it work?
how did you do that ??
ohhh put on a cap that has holes poked in it and squeeze it onto people and see what happens haha.
